Really good Weekend Getaway!
The restaurant's ambiance overlooking the river set the mood. The friendly staff ensured we felt at home, and the well-maintained leisure center provided fantastic relaxation. Don't miss the outside hot tub for fine views!

Staying in a triple room was a treat, especially with the spacious layout and perfect cleanliness. The fine views right by the river added to the charm of the place, and a good hiking path was a bonus we enjoyed. The breakfast was lacking. The buffet had limited options, and the scrambled eggs felt subpar. While the staff was ample, it was often challenging to garner their attention during our meal, a bit frustrating.

The indoor swimming pool was a real hit with the kids, keeping them entertained while we enjoyed a sauna. One of the pillows in our room could've been cleaner, but overall, it was an awesome experience 🌟

I liked the setting of the hotel.. set in lovely grounds
I didn't like my room. I did book a single room but didn't expect it to be quite so small. The bed was just inside the door and there was alot of noise from the corridors. Some family members were staying in the hotel also and the double rooms were far superior

The falls nearby, the donkeys and good space, good price when breakfast included
Staff didn't point out that pool closed to kids after 7 and before 9am, even though we asked about it with kids standing there, bit remote so not much to do with the kids in the evening. Decor is quite ugly.

enjoyable strolls near town's charming attractions and parks
I had such a wonderful time walking to the Great Hunger Memorial and visiting the beautiful Courthouse Gallery, both just a short stroll away. Plus, I really appreciated the lovely service , especially at breakfast where everything tasted so delicious.

Nice big room, was it an upgrade ? Beautiful view and special rooms. Swimming pool etc only briefly viewed - but good impression! The bathroom in our room was absolutely new, the old looking bed very good.

The restaurant was particularly good with the view of the falls here, I had excellent dishes. I appreciated both room service and very comfy bed.

Nice bar, restaurant areas and function room
Older rooms are really old and mustn't have been changed since the 1980's
